August 16, 2011: an article in the local newspaper, informed the public of critical information on several of the candidates including the Mayor. What was interesting, my position as a public figure was ignored and my official name on the ballot was not listed.
August 17, 2011: I recieved an email message and called the editor of the paper. After I called, I was told that he a sorry about the name, but there would be no corrected entries and far as he was concerned, my status as an elected Soil and Water Supervisor was irrelevant. Shouldn't the people be the judge of that?

September 20, 2011: SHAME, SHAME, SHAME - DO YOU KNOW THAT EARLY VOTING WILL START IN 2 DAYS AND SOME PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW THAT A PRIMARY IS GOING ON. AM I MISSING SOMETHING! SOME PEOPLE DO NOT EVEN KNOW WHO THE MAYOR IS. I MET TWO PEOPLE THAT WERE REGISTERED AND DID NOT EVEN KNOW THAT AN ELECTION CYCLE HAS STARTED. LORD HELP YOUR CHILDREN.
September 25, 2011: I attended several churches today and had a ball. it is always good to fellowship with goods people. You know something, sometimes I feel like I am going on my misionary journey. Thank you Jesus for all you have done for me and the trials that you have taken me through. I am stronger now because of you.
October 3, 2011 - Walked through several neighborhoods, passing out flyers. It is incrediable that many of the people know who i am, and seem to have a positive response. I may be a good sign.
October 8, 2011 - Voter turn out is low and does not look well for the home team. Many people I questioned do not know there is an primary election in process. I also have spoken with people that do not even know who the candidates are, to include the current Mayor. Is there something wrong with this picture.
October 9, 2011 - Thanks for all the support. We came in third place, so we lost in the primaries. I got a lot of congrats on the campaign, but we did not achieve our goal. I am very saddeen by the low voter turn-out.
I will say this in closing. Nat Roberson will make a good choice for Mayor. I would encourage all to vote for him. He seems to have a good personality and is not afraid to speak out on the issues. I wish him good fortunes and he has my blessings.
